Cerb's UW Academy (Monk and Necro Classes)
Hi! I decided to open my own underworld (UW) farming academy after trying to convince Sno to reopen his, which I failed at. I still felt there was a need for an academy of such sort, as most monks/necromancers you'll play with are unexperienced/slow/bad, or were taught by unexperienced/slow/bad players and never questionned themselves about how to improve.
The goal of my academy will be to teach you how to become good/better at farming the Underworld in a 2-men team. Here, you will find a class to suit your level, whether you are totally new or experienced. I taught for Sno's academy, and assisted him in many of his classes, so I can guarantee you that you will learn just as much in my classes.
Class Requirements
Obviously you will need to be ascended. I want to teach people that are willing to learn and improve. If you aren't, don't take this class.
The payment for each class will have to be made upfront, before entering the UW. Once inside, I will give you directions.
For each class, I can teach you with a Prophecies-only build or a Prophecies+Factions build.
New for monks - Team Classes!
For monks, you can now purchase a class for both you and your counterpart, the latter paying half price only.
Monk Classes- Beginner Class
This class is for monks that are new to UW, and the invinci-monk concept in general. If you've been soloing other areas but want to learn UW, you might want to consider the Intermediate class. This lesson will focus the build and dealing with enemies you will encounter while performing the Smite run.
Price per person: 25K
Price per team: 40K
Average Time: 25 to 40 minutes
- Intermediate Class
This class will focus on aggro patterns to improve speed during the smite run, as well as how to use your build to its full potential. I will run with you as your counterpart and tell you how to improve. Upon request*, I can also teach you the "Spider run".
Price per person: 40K, 50K* (for Intermediate+Spider run class)
Price per team: 60K, 75K* (for Intermediate+Spider run class)
Average Time: 30 to 45 minutes
- Advanced Class
This class is for experienced monks only. It is assumed that you've already perfected the smite run. You will learn how to perform the following quests: Wrathful Spirits (known as Spider run), Escort of Souls (Mindblades), Unwanted Guests and, of course, Servants of Grenth (Ice King). These quests require a certain level of experience (but have a good drop rate for Ectos) which is why this class is for experienced people only.
Price per person: 100K
Price per team: 150K
Average Time: 45 minutes to 1:15 hour
- Smiting Bonder Class
With the arrival of Factions, a monk can now team with a Holy Wrath/Retribution bonder. This class is for all levels, I will teach you how to play this role through a Smite run.
Price per person: 20K
Average Time: 20 to 30 minutes
Necromancer Classes- General Class
This class is for necromancers of all levels willing to perform a Smite run with speed and efficiency. You will learn to use your skills properly, as well as dealing with every situation you might come across in your future runs. I can also, upon request*, teach you the "Spider run".
Price per person: 20K, 30K* (for General+Spider run class)
Average Time: 25 to 40 minutes
General Information
For each class, I will provide the build that is most efficient for the run we'll be working on as well as tell you about weapon choices. I will answer your questions during and after the run (through in-game whispers or GWGuru private messages), and run with you once as your counterpart, whenever you're ready for it.
All classes are available on both American and European servers.
